Leveraging Cisco Packet Tracer and knowledge from the NetAcad cybersecurity course, I meticulously mapped the network topology, identified security controls, and conducted an attack surface mapping to pinpoint vulnerabilities. Through the incorporation of robust security measures such as VLANs, IDP/IPS, VPNs, and firewalls, I enhanced the network's security posture. The deliverables included a detailed network topology diagram and a security assessment report outlining identified risks and proposing effective countermeasures.
